From the wooden trout stall selling fresh trout next to the N4 highway in 1974, Millys has grown to be a popular stopover for many tourists and return customers making their way through Mpumalanga.
Now also offering a restaurant, accommodation, and farm stall, the family-owned business still strives to full-fill the Millys legacy. Most of the jams, jellies and the famous Mediterranean chutney are made from recipes handed down by Granny Unice to Milly herself. The trout factory is one of the only factories in the world still cutting the paper-thin sheets of trout by hand and the restaurant is supplied with farm-fresh ingredients from Milly’s own vegetable gardens to this day.
Built on proud traditions and family values Millys believes in empowering their community and their employees and have a handful of loyal staff who have been with the business for over 30 years.
