Today we will be sharing ideas for cooking whole trout. Never over cook your trout – the flesh should be moist and pink. You can bake it at 180°C for 20 minutes but its also great pan-fried or simply wrap in wet newspaper, place on the coals and braai as you would braai chops.
Need some inspiration?
1. Pan fry with butter, lemon juice and a splash of white wine, salt and pepper to taste and chopped parsley and
2. Roll in “Nutty Wheat” and pan fry in butter.
3. Stuff with spinach, mushroom and feta cheese. Pan fry or bake in the oven.
